Hello everyone :)
I'm VERY late with all my challenges but what I have done is combine all the challenges missed into the Reuse, Reduce, Recycle challenge # 100!!!
So here is a cap of what I've done with this card.
For Challenge #97 Purple and Yellow I had some Tulips that I had die cut from an older Sizzix Die and assembled them with the stems from awhile back. I trimmed the Tulip heads and the leaves and pop dotted them onto an oval Spellbinder Die cut. The Butterflies were punched from a MS punch which was accented with light purple wings. The yellow was the ribbon and bow. Also as you can see I had decided it looks better without a sentiment. Whaddya think...? Ya no..?
For Challenge #98 Sketchy Time I decided to keep it completely white because I liked the contrast with the Purple and Yellow. It wasn't a hard Sketch but I did find it difficult to use when I was combining everything. But I managed :)
For Challenge #99 Lace and Pearls I used white lace to enhance the Sketch from the week before and pearls on the leaves which I thought set it off simply and elegantly.
For THIS WEEKS Challenge on Corrosive was the Reuse, Reduce, Recycle. I guess your could say I reused the tulips as they were just sitting there not really being used but the real recycle item was the yellow ribbon from and organza bag I was going throw out. I decided it was perfect because it was yellow for an earlier challenge and it was part of this weeks challenge...aaaaahhaaaaa...lol....I'm so clever sometimes..lol J/K..I did have to flat iron the wrinkles out so the bow would sit properly and that was not easy because the ribbon is a thin organza and so I put it between a piece of cotton material and away I went :)
So there is the story behind this card for the week...lol.. :) I hope you all enjoyed it.
